Amanda Brugel
Pointe Claire, a quiet community situated in The West Island of Montreal is located in Montreal and is home to many small enterprises. This is also known as the West Island, which is frequently described as an independent "island" west of Montreal by people who are not familiar with it, in reality is a whole area west of Lachine. Many times, it is regarded as the birthplace of Amanda Brugel, but while it's true that she was born there, her stay there was not long. Brugel had a childhood in Courtice near Oshawa. She was aspiring to be a dancer from the start but because of the speed of growth, she outgrew all of the dancers she had. She acknowledged in a piece published by the Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall while wearing heels. When I outgrew my male partners, I stopped. Numerous former dancers choose to become actors. In the case of Brugel her encouragement came from the drama teacher at her the high school. She was encouraged to try out for roles of the production at her school. She tried out and ended up playing the main character for the role of Rita in Anne of Green Gables. A Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theatre Program which she completed in 2000, with a bachelor's fine arts degree.
